Gas Station
The early 19th Century brought about many changes in transportation and upon the introduction of automobiles there became a need for energy to power these horseless carriages.
Up until 1896 alcohol based fuels were the primary source of fuel; however as popularity increased with automobiles and taxation variances took place, gasoline because the primary source of fuel and early automobiles became adapted to the use of gasoline.

Main Street Museum features two types gasoline pumps including a Gravity Flow Gas Pump and Clock Face Gasoline Pump from the early 1930's.
